2021 Grande Côte Vineyard Syrah
Syrah · Washington · United States
Description
The Grande Côte Vineyard, planted in 1994 by Dick Boushey, is located in the Yakima Valley AVA, Washington. It sits at 800 feet elevation and features Warden Silt Loam soils, 24-60 inches deep over a layer of calcareous loam and fractured basalt. The vineyard experiences a warm climate, but a westward slope protects it from intense late afternoon sun, which helps to slow ripening. W.T. Vintners is among a select group of wineries that source Syrah from this esteemed site.
