2023 Fattoria Selvapiana Sangiovese

This Chianti Rùfina is the pillar of Selvapiana's production, using primarily Sangiovese with small contributions from traditional blending partners Canaiolo, Colorino, and Malvasia Nera. This wine is an excellent example of the finesse and crispness the Rùfina subzone of Chianti delivers.

Vibrant ruby red in colour, this wine has aromas of ripe blackberry and red cherry, with a hint of spice. The palate is ripe and juicy but still elegant and true to Selvapiana's classic style, with a tight structure and lifted, floral finish that is balanced perfectly by refreshing acidity.
